Cleaning Inclusions
What Standard Cleaning Means
Every Claro’s Cleaning service receives the same professional standard of care.
Standard Cleaning describes the household cleaning tasks our cleaners can perform during your booking. It does not mean that every listed task is guaranteed to be completed during every visit.
The amount completed depends on:
- The number of cleaner-hours booked
- The size of the property
- Its current condition
- Your highest cleaning priorities
- Any additional tasks requested
We begin with your highest-priority areas and work down from there.
Cleaning Time, Not Guaranteed Full-Property Completion
Your booking reserves professional cleaning time. It does not guarantee completion of the entire property.
A smaller booking reduces the cleaning time available. It does not reduce the amount of work your property needs.
If the workload exceeds the service booked, the remaining tasks may require a paid extension or another booking, subject to availability.
We would rather clean your priorities properly than rush through the property merely to claim that everything was finished.
Floors and General Household Cleaning
- Sweep or vacuum accessible floors
- Mop floors using products suitable for the surface
- Dust and wipe accessible surfaces, furniture, shelves and ledges
- Remove reachable cobwebs
- Empty ordinary household bins
Furniture and heavy objects are not automatically moved. We clean underneath furniture when the area can be reached safely and the task has been requested.
Bathrooms
- Clean toilets
- Clean bathroom sinks and faucets
- Wipe mirrors
- Clean accessible shower surfaces
- Wipe reachable tiles and bathroom fixtures
- Sweep or vacuum and mop bathroom floors
Ordinary surface marks and buildup are addressed within the time available.
Brown toilet staining, severe buildup, persistent mold and conditions requiring specialized treatment may fall outside Standard Cleaning or require a Paid Extra.
Kitchens
- Clean kitchen counters
- Clean the sink and faucet
- Clean the stovetop
- Wipe the accessible backsplash
- Wipe cabinet exteriors
- Wipe appliance exteriors
- Sweep or vacuum and mop accessible floors
Standard Cleaning covers appliance exteriors only.
Fridge interiors, oven interiors and range hood grease filters are Paid Extras and must be requested separately.
Glass and Frequently Touched Surfaces
- Wipe accessible mirrors and interior glass
- Wipe doors and reachable door frames
- Wipe handles
- Wipe light switches carefully
- Clean reachable window glass where safe and practical
Cleaning at unsafe heights, inaccessible exterior windows and work requiring specialist access equipment are not included.
Available by Request
The following tasks are available when requested:
- Wash dishes
- Make beds using linen provided
- Fold clothes
- Perform light tidying without reorganising belongings
- Clean underneath furniture where safely accessible
- Complete other reasonable and safe household cleaning tasks
These tasks do not normally carry a separate charge, but they still use your booked cleaning time.
For example, time spent washing dishes or folding clothes is time that cannot also be spent cleaning another room. Tell us which tasks matter most so the cleaner can allocate the available time sensibly.
Paid Extras
Some tasks require additional chemicals, materials, equipment, difficulty or risk. These are charged separately as Paid Extras.
Unless otherwise agreed, Paid Extras are still completed within the cleaner-hours you booked. The additional charge covers the specialized treatment—it does not automatically add more cleaning time.
